The Blue Garden Carpet Mix, contains varieties and species to provide a continuous flowering effect in your garden. The Christmas Rose, Helleborus, is a colorful mixture of helleborus producing clusters of 2-6 cup-shaped flowers, about 2" wide. Blooms in early spring. Height: 12-18". Winter to early spring, large flowers rise above masses of glossy dark, leather-like leaves. These hardy, easy to grow perennials thrive in a partially sunny to full shade locations and are great companions to Hosta. They are insect/disease resistant and tolerant of heat and humidity.Helleborus are relatively care-free plants. As with many ornamental perennials, adequate soil preparation is the key to long term health and vigor. Helleborus are deep rooted, stout plants, and are well-known for their thick, shiny green foliage.

The Tree Peony 'Kokuryu-nishiki', Paeonia suffruticosa 'Kokuryunishiki', has medium size, maroon-purple flowers with some white markings near the edges. Imported from Japan, it is a marvellous and unique variety that produces medium sized flowers. Tree peonies (Paeonia suffruiticosa) are actually shrubs, not trees. They produce woody stems and do not die back to the ground like herbaceous peonies.They are slow growing but long lived. Some specimens in China are thought to be more than 200 years old. Plants eventually grow to 3 to 5 feet tall, but they may take decades to do so. Plants prefer rich, moist, well-drained soils in partial or dappled shade. Plants bloom best in sunny sites, but flowers last longer in shady sites.

The Dwarf Reblooming Daylily Mixture, Hemerocallis, contains reblooming dwarf daylilies that bloom from June to September. They are excellent for the front of borders and patio containers. A semi-evergreen, these daylilies, so-called 'dwarf' varieties, produce compact, free-flowering plants and bloom during their normal period. Then, after resting awhile, they produce a second set of blossoms.

The Turk's Cap Lily Mix, Lilium superbum, will become favorites in your garden! Though many lilies have come and gone over the years, these have survived the test of time. Their gracefully recurved petals have given them their intriguing name. They are excellent garden lilies and will increase in beauty every year. Plant in small groups in the border or scatter them around for a more informal look. Well-drained soil and full to partial sun suit them best.Lilium superbum Turk's cap lily is easily grown. Mulch helps prevent soils drying out and keep the root zone cool. Turk's cap lily bulbs should be planted 4 to 6 inches deep.
