The Anemone Mr. Fokker, ‘Anemone Coronaria’, a spring planted herbacious root, produces gorgeous blue flowers. This flower is also known as Japanese Anemone and is one of the best fall flowers to plant. The foliage is glossy and brilliant. Anemone are easily grown and do best in slightly shaded locations. They should be placed in well drained soil with lots of organic matter. The Anemone is very late in breaking out of the ground in the spring, so be careful with early spring cultivation.
